Spending, and cash when you need it.
A revolving limit for day-to-day business spending, with the ability to move funds directly from the card into your business account. Most business cards only do the first of those.
How it works
- Limit
Up to £75,000.
- Card spending
Up to 42 days at no cost if cleared in time.
- Transfer to bank
Move funds from the card into the business account.
- Cost on transfers
Charged daily, so you pay for the days you use it.
- Repayment
Monthly by direct debit.
- Decision
Often within minutes.
What makes it different
Most business credit cards are a spending tool. This one also works as a short-term cash facility.
Funds move from the card straight into the business account. The cost is worked out by the day, so drawing for four days costs four days. Repay the same day and there is nothing to pay at all.
Useful when you are waiting on an invoice and a supplier will not wait.
Using it without being afraid of it
A common pattern. Someone takes the card, then keeps spending on the debit card because they do not want to be in debt.
You do not have to be. Make the transaction and clear it the same day if you want. Treat it like a debit card that pays you back. The cashback is the same either way.
What you get for it is a credit record. A business with no borrowing history has nothing for a lender to assess, whatever the director’s personal file looks like. That is one of the reasons established businesses still get quoted badly. There is nothing to read.
Used and cleared, this facility builds that record under the company. Left in a drawer, it does not.
Also included
Cashback on spending
Taken as statement credit, or paid into your business account.
Air miles
Cashback can go to air miles with British Airways, Virgin Atlantic or Qatar Airways instead of cash.
Pay suppliers directly
Pay suppliers straight from the facility. The money does not move to your account first.
No foreign transaction fee
Spend abroad without the usual surcharge.
Accounting software connection
Spending reconciles automatically. No manual entry.
Corporate card
Account data is reported under the business, not on the director’s personal credit file.
How this facility is administered
Funding11 introduces and submits the application. The approval decision, onboarding, account setup and everything after it run directly between the provider and the business.
The account, the credit limit, the terms and the ongoing relationship sit with the provider. Funding11 does not administer the facility, does not hold the account, and is not a party to the agreement.
The provider’s terms are the terms that apply. You should read them in full, including the personal guarantee, before accepting. Anything relating to the account once it is live is dealt with by the provider directly.
Is this for you
This facility normally sits alongside a loan or a credit line, not on its own. It works best as liquidity for a business that already has its main funding in place, and it is usually the second conversation rather than the first.
Send six months of statements and you will know where you stand, usually the same day.
